So tomorrow sees the release of the mono remasters of the Beatles catalogue marking the first time in 22 years some of the most important pop music ever recorded gets some overdue remaster love.

GET THEM.

I’m that nerd that will (sometimes violently) insist that CDs can’t do original vinyl justice, and that we’ve been putting up with some seriously crappy versions of the Beatles for far too long.  I’m happy to say that injustice has been corrected, as even a casual listen to the mono remasters showcases a depth and warmth I can’t find outside of some headphones and a turntable.

Just….wow. It’s about time these songs got to be heard they way they should have been all along.

To my co-workers:  I (don’t really) apologize in advance for the 10+ hours of Beatlemania I will subject you to tomorrow.
